Celebrating the Retirement of Mary Ellen Chapdelaine

Longtime Edlen team member Mary Ellen Chapdelaine retired in August after 21 years with the organization. Mary Ellen managed Edlen’s sales and marketing efforts during her time in the San Francisco and Portland offices. She joined Edlen in 2004 and has been a cornerstone of Edlen’s sales team for more than 20 years. Her career has been marked by her dedication, leadership, deep industry insight and the countless team members she has mentored.  Mary Ellen has been an active participant in major industry associations including IAEE, IAVM, MPI, PCMA and CEMA.

Throughout her tenure, Mary Ellen played a vital role in supporting our operations, clients, and colleagues. Her attention to detail, unwavering professionalism, and genuine care for others made her not only a trusted teammate but also a beloved friend to many across the company. Jim Wetterling, Chief Executive Officer, said “We are grateful for Mary Ellen’s contributions and dedication to the success of Edlen.  Her impact has been immense, and she is a valued team member and a friend.”

Whether she was coordinating complex projects or mentoring new team members, Mary Ellen’s impact was felt far and wide. Her legacy is one of commitment, kindness, and a deep passion for helping others succeed. “Mary Ellen’s contributions to Edlen have been enormous. Her elegant and articulate style of leadership will be missed. I will miss her”, says Jim Ness, President.

Mary Ellen has been instrumental in shaping Edlen’s sales strategy and driving growth across the organization. Her vision, commitment and passion for the trade show industry have left a lasting impact on the entire Edlen organization. As she begins this exciting new chapter, we extend our heartfelt thanks and best wishes.
