Seattle was brimming with excitement to host the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, also known as the “midsummer classic,” for the third time. The game was played on July 11 and hosted by the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park. The Edlen team helped turn Lumen Field & Event Center into a Play Ball Park experience. Both indoor and outdoor spaces were transformed into a massive baseball and softball party with everything from virtual reality games and autograph signings to panels featuring baseball legends.
The MLB has turned its draft into a marquee event. The opening night of the draft was held in front of a live audience at Lumen Field inside Play Ball Park. Pictured above is Mark Galstaun, VP of Northwest Operations, who said, “Congratulations to all who worked on this event, your hard work and dedication on what was the largest production in the 22-year history of the stadium was absolutely amazing. I’d say you hit a home run, but I think it was bigger!”
From Liz Brostrom, General Manager of Edlen’s Seattle office, “As a team, you were all exceptional. The event management team, electrical team and the logistical experts all came together to knock this one out of the park! It’s not always smooth or easy, but you guys made it LOOK that way. Hours and days were spent securing production schedules, diagrams and communications before going onsite, and that paid off. And that is what we do!”
